Full title: Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain - Exercise #1
So, I've been reading an art textbook by the name of "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain", in order to get a better understanding of drawing in general. And I recently got myself a Surface Book with Performance Base, which is what I'll be using to draw digitally for a long time.
The result is a decent self portrait, one that the book recommends I take only 20 minutes to do. Of course, I did this in about an hour because of a learning curve I'm adjusting to with the Surface Book.
Don't know how many exercises there are in that book, but I'll do them as I see fit. And I should also alternate with completing my Pokemon sketches. Only until after I finish both will I see if I should start accepting commissions or not.
So, what's next in that book? Draw a face from memory. And I know just the one.
That bitch. You know, that bitch. Purple fur, blood warpaint around her eyes, a smile that'll turn pants brown. What was her name again? Something to do with the weather...
